WORLD BANK: (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development) An agency of the United Nations that was established in 1945 to promote the economic development of the poorer nations in the world. They pursue this goal by providing low-interest loans to less development countries and offering technical assistance on the best ways to use these loans. Funds for the loans are obtained by the World Bank by selling bonds on the world's financial markets. It's long-run economic development orientation is usually coordinated with the shorter-run efforts of its sister U. N. agency, the International Monetary Fund.

RENTAL INCOME OF PERSONS: The official item in the National Income and Product Accounts maintained by the Bureau of Economic Analysis measuring rent earned by the household sector for supplying land and related services. This is one of five official factor payments making up national income. The other four are compensation of employees, net interest, corporate profits, and proprietors' income. Rental income of persons is typically the smallest of the five factor payment categories, usually less than 5% of national income.

MARGINAL COST OF SEARCH

Marginal cost of search, also termed marginal search cost, is comparable to marginal cost of short-run production analysis. Marginal cost of search increases with an increase in search effort and is represented by the marginal cost of search curve. This is one half of the efficient information search decision.
